“ As a native of Tucson, Arizona, I was delighted to discover the exceptional cuisine at Juanita's taqueria. While I may have tried their food previously, I have no recollection of it. However, I can confidently attest that their dishes are absolutely delicious, boasting outstanding quality, authenticity, and natural flavors. I am particularly fastidious when it comes to salt levels in food, and I was pleased to find that Juanita's offerings were perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend their catering services, which include a taco bar option for 20 people, complete with rice and beans, for $199. Individual chip bags are priced at $7, and approximately three servings would be sufficient for 20 people. Juanita's taqueria is a true embodiment of the authentic culture and flavor of Mexico. Tried the chicken quesadilla posted a photo somewhere but I can't figure out how to post it here on this review. I forgot to add in that photo that it is a chicken tostada delicious. ”
“ Went here on a Friday evening after work and tried the taco plate - one pollo and one cabeza taco, with rice & beans for around $7. They were both small, street-style tacos that practically melt in your mouth. Perfectly moist and good, but the tortillas still stayed intact. I wasn’t super hungry, so this was the perfect amount of food for me, but if you are pretty hungry you should definitely order more. I would for sure come back here again! ”
“ Consistently just incredible food. Very fast and friendly. Out of so many similar places in Tucson I’ve tried, Juanitos is a notch above its peers without question. They may not have a self-serve salsa bar but I don’t even miss it. On an impulse I took home a bag of tamales that looked good in the counter, and they were the absolute best beef tamales I have ever eaten anywhere. You must eat here. ”
“ Hit the spot!! We were craving good Mexican food, and tried this place. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Gentleman checking us out was patient and polite yet very efficient. (Stand in line to order, take a seat and wait until your number is called.) Plenty of room, and the dining area was clean and bright. They serve alcohol (I got a Corona). Street tacos were very flavorful. Served on a double corn tortilla, with onion & cilantro. Pickled carrots and Jalapeño, salsa verde, and sliced radishes were also provided. I ordered al pastor, carnitas and barbacoa tacos. Awesome. 2 would have done the trick. The carne asada burrito was very good, too. We were happy with our decision to eat here and would go back for sure! ”
“ It is absurd how good the food is, honestly. Do not skip the churro— it is 10x better than Disneyland. I have been here 2-3 times a year for work and I ALWAYS come to Juanitos. I have eaten most of the menu, nothing is bad. I recommend everything. ”
